Tyler Trevor is the Deputy Commissioner for Budget and Planning and Chief of Staff in the Montana Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education. His primary responsibilities include, managing University System budget and finances, information and data warehousing, as well as implementing performance funding, and facilitating the on-going development of a system-wide strategic plan.

Prior to his current role in the Montana University System, Tyler held the position of associate vice chancellor for academic and student affairs and director of institutional research in the Nevada System of Higher Education. He has spent a twenty-nine year career in higher education working for system offices and colleges in three different states.
