Kati Sellers is the Director of Mentoring and Academic Advising at Mid Michigan College, where she has served students and the institution for the past eight years. Her work is grounded in more than two decades of experience in education, beginning with 12 years supporting learners across birth-to-three, early childhood, and K-12 settings.

At Mid Michigan College, Kati began her career in admissions before transitioning into academic advising, where her passion for student success, equity, and retention took root. She has spent the last four years as Director of Mentoring and Academic Advising, leading initiatives that strengthen student support systems, improve advising practices, and foster meaningful connections between students and the college community.

Kati is also a member of the TargetX implementation team, contributing to the development and integration of technology-driven solutions that enhance advising, mentoring, and student engagement. Her professional focus centers on holistic student support, relationship-based advising, and creating systems that help students persist and thrive.
