As President since July 2022, Olivier Charles has led the HBCU Bishop State Community College in workforce growth and positioned the college’s students and employees for success. He has a strong background in higher education, having served in roles at ACCS, Enterprise State Community College, Auburn University at Montgomery, and the University of Alabama. President Charles is an accomplished leader in his community and finds time to serve on the board for the Mobile Ballet. He and his wife, Angela, have one daughter, Claire.
