Melissa Thompson serves as the Director of Admissions and Enrollment in the College of Allied Health Professions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. With 20-years of experience in secondary and higher education student services, she is responsible for managing the college's systems and data integration, while also overseeing the ongoing data collection and analysis of admissions, enrollment, and enrollment status change data. Additionally, she oversees the implementation of holistic review best practices in each program’s admissions process, as well as the ongoing assessment and improvement of the College’s holistic review policies and procedures.
