Bill Fritz has worked in enrollment management for over 23 years. He is currently the Senior Director of Admission Services for Penn State’s World Campus. In this role he strives to recruit prospective students looking for a high-quality education, in a convenient and flexible online format. During his 16 years at World Campus, enrollment has more than doubled to make World Campus the second largest campus in the Penn State System. World Campus currently serves over 20,000 students in more than 200 degree and certificate programs. Bill believes in a student-centered approach to enrollment management with the goal of matching prospective students with the right institution to meet their specific needs. Before his work at Penn State, Bill began his career in higher education at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. There he served in a variety of roles, including Director of Undergraduate Admissions and worked with traditional age students, student athletes, and transfer students. He was an active contributor to two significant institutional changes, the transition from a single sex college to a co-educational institution and the transition from a Division III Athletic programs to Division II. Bill has presented at national enrollment management conferences on a variety of topics including student-centered recruiting, adult learner recruitment, online education, and virtual recruitment strategies. Bill has a BA in Political Science from Millersville University and a MS in Administration from Chestnut Hill College.
