Date & Time

Description

This session will delve into Concordia University Texas's innovative approach to restructuring institutional aid to better serve its high-need, minority student population. As a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) in Austin, Texas, the university's high sticker price and increasing discount rate driven by a complex matrix created barriers for students and staff. With the help of Liaison Othot, an advanced analytics and modeling tool, Concordia leveraged historical data to model various scenarios and predict the impact of a tuition restructure. In 2023, they launched “The Right Call” initiative, which increased net tuition revenue (NTR), lowered the discount rate, and improved financial transparency for students while boosting university returns.

• Attend this session to explore Concordia Texas’s journey to transformative tuition restructuring and its impact on students and staff.

• Expect to learn how advanced analytics and modeling tools can be used to predict outcomes and drive strategic initiatives.

• Discover actionable insights on improving financial transparency, increasing NTR, and enhancing institutional aid strategies for long-term success.
