This session will explore how the Office of Graduate Enrollment at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) leveraged AI and advanced analytics to address challenges arising from rapid graduate enrollment growth. Following declines in academic quality and revenue during the Fall 2022 and 2023 cycles, IIT set strategic goals for Fall 2024: improving academic quality, decreasing scholarship awards, and increasing revenue. By utilizing Liaison Othot’s advanced analytics platform, they developed a revised scholarship strategy for the College of Computing, which successfully met these objectives. Now planning to expand the approach to other colleges in 2025 and beyond, IIT offers valuable insights for graduate enrollment management (GEM) professionals. Attendees will learn how AI and analytics can optimize scholarship awards, drive enrollment, and enhance financial aid strategies through effective university-partner collaboration.
