Dan Belyea serves as the Chief Workforce Development Officer at the Maine Community College System (MCCS) and the Harold Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce, where he oversees more than $175 million in workforce training investments.
With over 37 years at MCCS and extensive leadership experience at Eastern Maine Community College, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge, vision, and strategic leadership to his role. He is an active member of the State Workforce Board, serves on the boards of Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) as Vice Chair, and was appointed by Governor Mills as Chair of the Board of Visitors of the Long Creek Youth Development Center with the Maine Department of Corrections and as Vice Chair of the Commission of Substance Use Disorder.
